That is the saw, no question, and a pretty sweet weathering job to boot! But $500 is WAY WAY WAY too much for a non runing proMac10. The starting price is even a bit high seeing as it dosen\'t run, not unreasonable, but a little high. You should be able to a mint promac10 for $250 at the most, and that\'s basically fresh outta the box. However, since it is such an amazingly rare piece, it really is a sellers market, and if someone will plunk down the change, that\'s what it\'s worth. I would be very surprised if that saw sells for his asking price though. Most hard core TCM fans know that saw is THE grail, but not at that price, if you\'re vigilant, you might be able to find one on ebay for under $50 in that same condition or better.

I already own a Mcculloch super 2-10 auto
Very accurate if you ask me,If you notice he dosnt even tell you what kind it is b/c he dosnt want you to get one for 10 bucks!!!

Man that\'s super nice! Even though the starting bid is 100, i\'m not even going to bother. I\'m sure the price will increase to at least 400 dollars. It\'s very accurate indeed, but you could find a brand new/slightly used running one for around 100 on ebay, at least that\'s how much mine was. Than if your good at wethering, you can do it yourself. You could even make it better, or do just as good. Yes, don\'t get me wrong, it\'s a great chainsaw and an awesome replica. But, I\'m not a hardcore tcm fan to spend 500 on a wethered chainsaw.

Nobody should be. If you buy that saw for $500 you\'re not a hardcore TCM fan, you\'re an idiot with too much money. Like I said, any fan who knows the saw, knows you can find em for $10 -$100 depending on condition. And as much as I\'d like to grab one (and I\'m sure will someday) I\'m still pretty damn happy with my 7-10 right now.
gmyers, if that saw get\'s up to $400 I\'ll eat my bloody apron LOL! Don\'t bother cause $100 is still WAY to much for a non runing promac10.

Get ready to eat your bloody apron travs lol! Your right, only an idiot would spend alot for that! I better go bid for that then!

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SPEND 500 BUCKS ON THIS
IF YOU DO YOUR AN IDIOT,any ways no one even knows for sure what type of saw was used b/c they had to cover up the brand to avoid lawsuits(sp)

Quote:DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SPEND 500 BUCKS ON THISActually it was confirmed by Gunnar what saw was used. At least he told me it was, when I met him.

What was it?

Actually, the brand was McCulloch, no question at all. It was a ProMac-10, like I\'ve said a few times, no other saw even comes remotly close to looking the same. I know that for sure, so does every other hard core TCM fan.
