Agree, disagree - They\'re still the same mask and that\'s all there is to it. The mask from part3 is the same mask from part 4 and the same mask used in the hallucination scenes in part 5. The only difference is they cut an axe mark in it at the end of three, the triangles started to come off (in that second to last screen cap from pt3 with the axe in his head, you can see the forehead triangle has already started to come off at one corner), and then they put new straps on it for 5. Three movies, ONE mask. You can accept it, or just be wrong about it. Doesn\'t matter to me. I\'m just giving you the correct info. What you do with it is up to you. LOL

well, i think this should be a polite discussion, no need to get somewhat hostile. but if that is true, how then do you explain the part 4 poster, with no triangles? mind you, this was released before part 5.

also, the forehead triangle in 4 and 5 both have a somewhat upward curve (at least the half that\'s left ) but the 3 is pretty straight...

only difference besides getting dirtier or paint shippign and missing tris is the fact the thin abs mask used in 3,4,5 has a differnt shape in all movies due to the actors head,,The only films that had fiberglass mask was x and vs..from what i know david miller molded the 4 to make the 5 but still used the part 4 in dream scenes..the only close up of the 4 is the shower scene and u can see the eye are the same

If you look CLOSELY at the part4 VIDEO COVER (the theatrical poster doesn\'t have any pictures on it), you can see the triangles have been "painted out". Back before computers, artists would enhance photos by hand with a brush or airbrush. Just take a moment to really look at that pic and you\'ll see that the area where the triangles should be and all that cracking is not actually part of the mask. It\'s poster art.

aarons right the tri has been greyed out on the cover and the 3 tri isnt str8..its a v shaped tri,,facts cant be argued with

the pics posted were DMC mask which paint suks and were made with a part 5 mold..which mena it will loose soem shape not to mention they remolded and remolded whne they started selling them and didnt use the orignals..

i think its pretty easy to see they were all the same Hockey Mask.
