How Do You Do It?

I\'ve read in a couple of posts someone mentions reshaping a hockey mask. How do you do that? I\'m going to try to do that on mine. Where do you mask makers learn all this stuff? I can\'t find books or info online about the subject.

I\'m not sure if it\'s the same deal with ABS. But with a fiberglass Hockey Mask, i was told that you can reshape it by filling up the sink with hot boiling water. Soaking the mask in it for about 5 mins. Pulling it out, then reshape, let it chill in the freezer and presto! Is it ABS or Fiberglass?

I still havent tried it on mine yet though Not because i\'m afraid it wont work, i\'m just afraid to screw it up.

i think with an Abs Hockey Mask you can preheat the oven to 375, put the Hockey Mask in for 2 minutes and then take it out reshape it and then put it in the freezer?

if its ABS and you put it in the oven dont keep it in there long or you will have a big goo mess
heat it for 375 and put it in there for like 1 min pull it out and see how soft it is if you can bend it do it with your hands if you cant put it back in
after you bend and move to the shape you want put it in cold water or in the freezer

JUST DONT LEAVE IT IN THERE LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no i know that do u use any type of mold to get it too the exact shape

you jsut bend it with your hands till it looks right

no you have to pay $700 for a reshape mold :blink: :blink: :ph34r:
