Hey guys whats up? here is the deal my math class is doing a fund raiser for this homless shelter and we are using this math exponent style to accumulate money if any of you guys are interested in donating some money to a good cause, i know alot of people like to do a good deed at least once a year, let this be yours. Here is the Email that i am sending around
Hello, we are an intermediate algebra 2 class from Woodbridge High School in Irvine California. We are organizing a community service project to raise money for Isaiah\'s House: Santa Ana Homeless Shelter. However, our project is much more powerful than ordinary community service. We\'re having each student in the class ask 3(or) people to donate $3 then have each of them ask three people, then those three ask three more (you could say that we borrowed the idea from the movie Pay it Forward). This uses the properties of exponents (one of our recent lessons) for a great cause. Donators do not have to donate very much, but any amount is welcome.
We suggest that you donate $3, and to forward it to others, asking them to donate $3. For example, after reading this e-mail send it to 3 (or more) of your friends, family, and coworkers. Then those 3 pass it on to 3 more people. When you have forwarded this email out, send your individual donation to the address at the bottom of this email, which is the student that started this tree.
This is a complicated process that some people may deem suspicious, which is completely understandable. Please visit our website at www.exponentialcs.com and email us at whsmathstudents@yahoo.com for more information, and any fuzzy parts will be clarified.
Please make all checks out to Woodbridge High School
Thank you for your support, and remember to pay it forward! www.exponentialcs.com whsmathstudents@yahoo.com
Alright guys is you want to do your part and donate 3 dollars it would be very appreciated. Also if you could find 3 more reliable friends of family members you think would be interested...just have them do the same thing and send the checks to the same adress...the school doesnt want all the checks goign to them or else it will destory there mail sorting schedual or somthing.
