I only use hydrocal & pottery plaster but I think it would be mixed the same way, wha you do is get a bucket with water in it then you start to pour the UC30 in slowly until you get what the call a cracked river bed effect! what this means is you will have enough plaster in the water that it rises up over the water like a small Island in the middle. You should let that sit like that for about 5 minutes then start mixing it around, I just use my hand, some use mixers, to each his own. After you are done mixing, makinf sure to get all the lumps out & try not to have to many bubbles then you are ready to use a chip brush to start adding the plaster to your sculpture, as release most people spray the piece with Clear coat the a dulling spray made buy Krylon, I don\'t do this, never seemed to need to but it depends on what clay you are using. Oil base will heat up real goo in the mold once you demold it, it will be very smushy, that is if you demold in a little over an hour, let it cool a bit so you can grab the oil based clay & pull bigger pieces out if you try to grab the melted stuff, it makes a mess. You can also take a piec of oild based clay & dab the inside of the mold to collect excess clay from out of the mold. Water based or WED is simple, if the sculpture has gotten quite hard then it will be simple to pull huge pieces out, with the remaining put the mold half in a laudry sink or just soak the mold & use a cut down chip brush & scrub away. Hope this helps a bit but everyone has a slightly different way, jeeze I felt like I was righting a book!!!! lol.

    Bob.
