Well after working on this thing forever. I finally finished it. I posted pics on a earlier post of my chainbar but I wanted to show you all how it looks after I added the chain. I spent about 3 hours last saturday in my garage with a dremel and I ground down and smoothed out each tooth on the chain. Then I cut the chain and glue it to the chainbar so it doesn\'t come near the Gear, this way the chain will not and can not move. Then I added some red paint, and sponges to look like meat. Ad I clear coated that. And did about 6 layers of paint and clear coat, and added some hair. Now my chainsaw looks disturbing and I know it\'s going to freak some people out at my Haunted House.
***Let me add one more time so everyone understands... The chain does not move. And the teeth are dull as hell.***
I actually took the chain and ran it across my leg to see if it was safe enough, and it was. I figured if someone is going to get hurt it needs to be myself. As a extra safety precaution I filled in the gaps with Goop glue (which is flexible and helps make if soft)
So here are some pics I want to share with you. They are alittle close, but my Chainsaw is at the Haunted House so I can\'t take new ones.
