Ok guys. I tried this out today...it was easy and cheap and looks fantastic. I wanted a good way of displaying the relevant Friday logo with each of my hockey masks, wether it be for a shadow box...or however you wish to display it. This is what to do....
Take a piece of transparent plexi-glass, perspex or actual glass. Plece it over your Friday the 13th logo and trace the logo onto the glass with a laundry pen or any thin permanent marker.
When you have done this, turn it over so the logo image is reversed. You will need a thin paint brush and some red enamel paint or whatever colour you choose to do the logo! (its very cheap to buy a tiny pot of enamel paint!!). Paint the logo in (you should be doing this so the image is back to front!) Hope you are with me so far!!!
Allow a couple of hours (minimum) for your logo to dry (enamel is very fast drying anyway!!) Then you will need a can of black enamel spray paint (also very cheap). When the logo is dry, gently spray over it and give it a couple of good coats. (Hold it up to the light , and if any light shines through just keep spraying until its completely black). Allow another hour or 2 to dry.
You should now have a beautiful looking logo (like pictures below). Just use some aftershave or nail varnish remover to remove the pen marks. I think it looks fab! Just dont be in a rush to spray over the logo. Personally i give mine a good 4 hours to dry so the black paint doesn\'t bleed underneath the logo.
Have a go and let me know how you get on... It\'s SO easy it\'s unbelievable! See how good it looks.......(Let me know if you have any trouble and i\'ll do my best to help you out!!)
