Is it just me, or do you others that run or work at Haunts get the opening night Jitters? It doesn\'t matter how long I have done this for. I am a flat out, 100 miles an hour basket case for the weeks leading up to Haunting time, but when the first group walks down to my cemetery, and I walk out of the smoking grave, all nervousness disappears and it\'s business as usual.
It truly is a great feeling to do what we haunters do. Right now I\'m taking a break, doctor\'s orders...lol, due to walking pneumonia and bronchitis, but for some reason, any other time of year it would knock my tallywhacker in the dirt. Right now, no time for being sick. Need to finish up the new 3-D haunt and tie up the rest of the loose ends. Friday night is coming quick and I can\'t wait. Good luck to the rest of the Haunting crews this year. Let\'s have fun while we can, because before we know it, it\'s November and time to wait for another 10-11 months! :yucky:

I\'ve been considering seeing about getting hired on at one this year, but thought it might get boring after a while.

Trust me bro, I run my own haunted hayride / haunted house, and have been for the last 3 years, and its a blast every second of it.

I am usually bubba, and theres nothing like it

I\'m excited as hell when I hear the first group coming through...we typically get over 5,000 people each year and I love every second of it! However, I\'ll miss our opening night this year (brother-in-law\'s wedding), which falls on Friday the 13th of all nights!
