The school that I go to has a requirement called a senior project which is basically a physical project and some research reports. I\'m going to order a mask making kit so I can create a mask and keep in mind I haven\'t made a mask before lol. Well I was thinking of making a mask based on Choptop from TCM 2 so if anyone can give me any tips of some sort I would really appreciate it. I dont know if I will keep it as a mask but I might change it to just a display piece.

Probably your best bet would be to get a kit and video (or 2) from monstermakers.
There is just way to much to get into as far as mask making goes, but monstermakers will get you off to a really great start Big Grin

Yeah I was going to order a kit but are the videos really informative? because someone told me the book has enough information.

try the death studios monster making video
it is inexpensive and covers everything you need to know
sculpting, molding, casting, painting, hairing, cutting, etc..etc...
    deathstudios.com
as far as monster makers is concerned, you can get away with not buying the whole kit..if you can find clay and plaster locally, and use a different type of paint than the pre mixed you can save a lot of money...a art supply store ( not michales or ac moore) would have the clay, and a construction supply store would have the plaster... you can use almost anything for sculpting tools, I have even seen 2 litre bottles used for the sculpting armature..but it is not reccommended. I am just ranting here, but it is something to keep in mind...all the supplies get really really expensive.
