The H4 H5 poster mask is in my opinion one of the best looking Myers masks but it is not actually in any of the Halloween movies.Does anyone know the history of this mask and why it was not actaully used in the movies?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the H4/5 poster mask is an artist's painting/photo touch-up of a photograph of the actual H1/H2 mask taken at some point during one of those films (H2 I believe) . . . see below.<img src=\"http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q309/CrashCunningham/H4Cover.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />It seems the biggest change made was the width of the neck and the addition of color to the eyebrows.<img src=\"http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q309/CrashCunningham/H4Poster.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

From what I have been told the mask is a SAMHAIN, They are available at jack in the box.

the story i've heard over the years is that the mask on the poster is of a H1/H2 mask they took pics of and a painter painted the mask just like what Crash said above and after some time , i can't think of the companies name right now sculpted the mask called " samhain " off of that look . then the mask was recasted or sold off to someone and then sold to like a million other people who have made too many samhain masks since . but basicly , the one on the poster is a painting of a screen pic of the screen used H1/H2 mask and the samhain mask is sculpted after that look o nthe poster . mike,

Thanks for all the info on the H4 H5 poster mask.I was always quite surprised that this mask was never actually produced to appear in any of the Halloween movies. It is basically a promotional poster mask because it never had no screen time.

The Maniac is based off of the poster mask.

The Maniac and Evilution appear to be the h4 & h5 poster mask.I even added painted eyebrows to my Maniac to make it look more like the H4 poster.
