What is with the people in these departments lately? Why not use the original cover art? It was good to use at one time, is it now too dated? I thought everybody wanted to go retro because they are doing that in Hollywood lately with all of the remakes.

I have a (dumb) question. This is news to me.Is the original going to be really "uncut" or is it just the same as the R rated I already have? I'll buy it again if it is.

I believe it's the version that's been out in Japan for a long time. It's got some extended scenes of gore such as an extended Kevin Bacon "arrow" scene and you get to see more of Pam's head rolling down the beach. There may be more differences too...

It's the international Warner Brothers Cut. It contains only about 20 seconds total of extra gore. Its been released in Japan and Australia for years....
