I ordered a no face blank awhile back and i am waiting for it to come in th mail. Ive got everything i need for the mask. I have two questions though. first can anyone tell me why are you supposed to paint the back of the mask black? For the second on the eye holes should i just use some nylon or something to give it the black look behind the eyes? Any comments are appreciated.

as far as i know u dont "have" to paint the back black....just if ur going for accuracy it depends on the Hockey Mask ur making..

and yeah nylon works great for eye blackouts....tape or glue them in on the inside.

welp the back of the mask in part 6 is black/gray so its all in the accuracy.

and to post pics. u need to upload them to the inernet then post the url in the reply box in between the image code....this site makes it simple though but clicking the IMG button and pasting the URL there...

what kind of paints are you using???for detailing use some thinned acrylic with a splash of watercolors for weathering and details!!!also do not forget to detail the inside of the ventricals(holes) to give it a more weathered feel.You\'d be suprised how the watercolors will look like dirty water has dripped off of the mask...but do it in layers...i suggest burnt sienna, deep yellow watercolor and burnt umber fordeeper detail...should look great....and use sponges and brushes for drips etc.

To upload pics, go to www.photobucket.com and register/sign in. Then click on browse and find your picture (easily located if you originally save to the desktop). Then click the upload button. You will see a http:// link under your picture. Now when posting your topic click on the IMG button and then paste your http:// link and voila... you\'ve got pics posted! Hope this helps.

I was planning on using some Almond color Krylon spray paint. It doesnt have to be perfect but id like it to be as close as i can get it. For the triangle i am using some sort, i dont know what kind, of i believe the color is Geranium Red. Thanks for helping out with posting pics.
