I was at my grandmothers today and she asked me to get some old coins out of their closet. It was 6lbs of steel pennies. While I was in the closet I saw some old machetes that were my grandfathers. I took one out and I thought it looked just like the one from Pt.4 Let me know what you think. I've still got to clean it up, its very rusty.<img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v222/SauronTD/S6300137-1.jpg?t=1229642838\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

    That's actually pretty damn cool. I wish my grandparents had machetes hidden in their closet. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />

Nice! Is that a Legitimus Collins machete? And what length is it? I have a 31" LC that could pass for the part 3 machete.

It doesnt have their stamp on the blade but it you can see in my original pic remnants of the same sytle label they used. The overall lenght is 27". I got the blade cleaned up, using a special polishing technique that doesnt remove the old black rust. The part of blade near the handle isnt as shiny as it looks in the pic, it looks just like it does towards the tip.EDIT: I found the Legitimus mark on the blade! Its very faint but it is there!<img src=\"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v222/SauronTD/S6300138-1.jpg?t=1229707399\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

Oh man that's sweet! You must have been excited as hell to find that hidden treasure...I know I would have been for sure. You should seriously consider making a nice wall mount for that bad boy.<img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />
