Where is a site or store i could find a decent looking 74 shirt? Any recomindations would help?

P.S. I have seen stripes on some and when i watch the movie it doesnt seem to have any on it. Whats up with that?

The shirt in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974) definitely had stripes on it. It's a short sleeved white shirt with dark blue or black stripes on it. If you can zoom in look at this pic:



It's hard to see. They are really thin stripes, and spaced out a bit.

Where to find a good shirt, that's the tough part. I've found a couple over the past years, all discontinued now.

I believe the original shirt was a long sleeve shirt that was cut into short sleeve. I have read that the only good one that is out now that sort of resembles that shirt is a "Target" brand shirt that they currently sell. I believe the name "pita" is in the title of the name of the shirt that they sell. I have also watched the movie in blu-ray and I have to say that you see a lot of things that you would have never seen will a regular DVD. I hope this helps.

This is mine. Original shirt was white with stripes. I soaked it in a bath of tea for a few hours
to stain the shirt. It still need to be done a few times more.
I might be selling this whole combo (Mask by Addison, Shirt and Tie) in the next day, so
keep and eye out on the classified section.
