Well guys, I've come to realize that I just don't have the room for my collectibles/masks anymore. Now before you jump the gun, I'm not selling any of it. I just decided that I can't keep cramming more and more of my masks, figures, gloves, posters, collectibles, etc. into this tiny apartment. It' just gets more and more cluttered with each piece.

So I called my mom, who lives about half an hour away, and asked if I could use her spare room to set up a collection room for all of my stuff. And being the one who got me into the hobby at such a young age, she basically gave me no other choice but to bring it down. She told me she would much rather have it all there as opposed to me selling it. She's big into holding on to memorable things like that.

So long story short, I'm basically going to be separated from my collection and it's kind of depressing. It will be a weird feeling if I want to take pictures of a piece and not have it at my apartment to do so. I suppose I'm happy that I don't have to sell it off, but it's certainly not an easy move. At least I will have it all in one place (and hopefully set up nicely)

Anyways, thanks for letting me vent guys. On the bright side, now whenever I go to my moms to visit, I will be able to take (nearly) full collection pics again instead of just my BH H6 and my H3 Trio (which I've kept displayed in the living room while the rest was tucked away)

good point, man. it's crazy. I just took down all of my posters, and there's a slight indication from where each poster was. I could tear up

Wow, I don't think I could do it. I have to have my stuff with me at all times. I understand about the room restrictions (all my stuff in my tiny furnace room). I do like that you are not selling anything. I hate to see when one of us drops off and has to sell all thier stuff. Hang in there brother. Your mom sounds like a super cool lady.

I know how you feel dude. I actually have to thank you for showing me the Harriet Carter cases because now I can put my masks on them and stack a few on my nightstand, making a little room in my room. I'm cutting down significantly on buying because I have no money to and trying to sell a good bit of stuff that I feel I don't want anymore.

Thanks for the support, fellas. I do plan on keeping a select few here at the apartment, but like you said Mike, it's simply a result of not having any room. in this apartment, I have a kitchen, bathroom, living room (that is open to my music area) and a bedroom. No spare room, not even an extra closet. I just could never sell my stuff. The items I have now are items that I've kept since I first started, so they are more sentimental really. Mostly my NIGHTOWL items.

I can admit, I'm kind of excited to set it all up over at my mom's place because I will be able to get all new shelves and have most of my horror items displayed in one location. Her spare room is also kept very dark. So no sunlight = good!

    Thanks again, fellas.

Yeah Jay's running out of room too... He won't be selling his stuff but he has to stop collecting for a while... And since we are looking into getting a apartment we both are going to have to stop collecting at some point, cuz I have a huge Anime, and figures collection... It's going to be hard cuz I don't want to stop collecting lol
