FINALLY got started on the tattoo work I\'ve been dying to get done for years now! A traditional Japanese piece, and Oni demon. I talked with my artist for a while and we came up with a much wider idea, something REALLY cool, and not seen very much, so I like that part! So this particular Oni is Raijin, the god of thunder, the big stick he has is his club that he\'d hit his drum with, causing thunder. Above him is going to be Fujin, the god of wind, similar style, but a different deity. When they fought, that was what caused storms in ancient legend. Between them is going to be a Buddhist temple in the mountains and clouds, what they\'re fighting over. So it will be a full sleeve, filled in with detail and background elements, and in full color! Raijin is going to be blue, and Fujin red, the temple more muted tones, or even black and grey. Have 2 more sessions and should be able to get the rest in in those 2, they\'re LONG sessions, and it\'s good I have a high pain threshold LOL
Here is the start though, all the outlining and shading on Raijin is done, next session is color and the next pieces! You can also see the piece I\'m having covered up in the one shot, inside of my forearm, I liked the tattoo, but it was really done poorly.
