I mean, seriously? I saw this at midnight on Thursday and immediately came back to my pc, thinking I\'d see one of my fellow NIGHTOWLers beat me to the task. I then had to run to Chicago for the weekend - but here I return - and still no thread?
Did anyone else see this film?

If so, did anyone else think this was a MAJOR game-changer for the horror industry? I was blown away by it.

    Yes, good.
The best way to describe it...is to liken it to how Evil Dead 2 changed the face of horror to some degree. I\'m not saying it\'s like Evil Dead 2....because it isn\'t. At least not in the way that I believe Joss Whedon wrote/produced it. But it definitely will not put you to sleep.

And to re-iterate...I was blown away by it.

You CANNOT watch the preview and get a legitimate feel for whether or not you\'ll like the film. You just have to trust a fellow horror fan.

I saw this film on Friday and was disappointed. I get mixing the whole old school horror vibe with more modern elements, but for me this one didn\'t work. I thought the cliched mix of friends was, well.... cliched lol, although I know it was required for the storyline. The overall premise was interesting but then the last 20 mins or so just went too over the top for my liking.

Hey, at least I got to have some popcorn Confusedmile:

Make sure you respond when you see it...I\'m dying to know if anyone agrees with me. Two teenagers I know told me that they thought the film was ridiculously bad....that\'s usually a tell-tale sign that I\'m going to love a film. It\'s the teeange crowd that loved Freddy vs. Jason, Saw Part 6, Paranormal Activity 3 and likewise hate films that have original concepts.

I Liked it, for me I felt it could have been a little longer. Alot of the story seemed rushed. It was fun as hell to watch though, and the idea was very different. Tack on anther 35 mins and I think It would have been that much better. But that\'s just me. The trailers and previews led me to believe it was going to be something else, at the beginning I almost thought I was in the wrong theatre lol
