My friend Rick just got these pics of Swine that Casey finished up for him. His imagination never ceases to lead to the creation of the most amazing sculpts!

Does Casy ever make "wearable" masks? Or are they just display only? I guess if your going to pay 400-1,000 for a mask why would you wear it?

    lol

Casey has never made a mask that is wearable to my knowledge. He doesn\'t make masks, just busts and such. And I think you\'d be crazy to wear any of his art... its just too pretty!

He does great work. I think he should offer an economy line for those of us who don\'t want to charge up our credit cards. It says he was a huge Halloween mask fan, just curious why he never makes "Wearable" masks.

Actually I take that back. I just talked w/ Casey and he made Swine a wearable halloween mask last year. He was able to see through the nose holes he cut. To be honest w/ you he can make any mask wearable if you request it, although I don\'t know why you would. Casey simply takes pride in all of his work and strives to make it the best possible (movie quality). He doesn\'t like to do lower end masks and never has. If you want the best, you have to pay for it. Casey\'s pieces only skyrocket in value (never depreciate) so I look at it as an investment at least. He makes VERY limited copies and then usually breaks the mold w/ a few exceptions of selling to deathstudios. You can\'t simply tell me that you\'ll fork out $300 on a Myers mask, but not $500 for something that is far more detailed w/ many hours of labor put into it. Casey is one of the main reasons I\'ve started collecting original art!

In fact casey does make wearable masks. There are two that Death Studios carries that he did . And I dont think Jeff would carry masks that could not be worn.

And this swine piece he wore at last years Todd Masters Halloween Party .

What I was trying to say as that he doesn\'t make masks w/ the intention of people wearing them. But it is possible w/ request. And deathstudios... well thats another story.
