Blood For Leather - dxfan - 05-19-2006 I picked up this wicked awsome piece today at a gargae sale its ahrd to explain seems wet cow hyde was placed on a face then let back in the sun untul hardent then removed...and a perfect face was left.....this looks exactly like a skinned face.....i cut the eyes and nostrile i want to add some blood what would stain cows hyde? As for blood you could try animal blood (sheep,s blood i.e)a butcher could help you.As for synthetic blood try a mix of Aleene,s stretchable fabric glue 50/50 to distilled water,add some acrylic paint to the water first,dark red & a little dark brown mixed well of course.This should dry with just a touch of shine to it,I got this glue/water tip from Justin.You could of course contact Erich Lubatti for advice,I think he,d be intrigued by this leather mask.Hope I,ve helped :thumbsup: Blood For Leather - dxfan - 05-20-2006 Well im not sure exatly how it was made, just what seems obvious...it oculd very well have been created somehow" i hut the eye holes...whats awsome is that its ONE BIG PEICE OF LEATHER |
