I picked up this wicked awsome piece today at a gargae sale

its ahrd to explain seems wet cow hyde was placed on a face then let back in the sun untul hardent then removed...and a perfect face was left.....this looks exactly like a skinned face.....i cut the eyes and nostrile i want to add some blood what would stain cows hyde?

That mask is bizarre,hard to believe how it was made.If it was made that way,can you imagine what sort of Kemper you could come up with if you had a cast of Eric Balfours face? As for blood you could try animal blood (sheep,s blood i.e)a butcher could help you.As for synthetic blood try a mix of Aleene,s stretchable fabric glue 50/50 to distilled water,add some acrylic paint to the water first,dark red & a little dark brown mixed well of course.This should dry with just a touch of shine to it,I got this glue/water tip from Justin.You could of course contact Erich Lubatti for advice,I think he,d be intrigued by this leather mask.Hope I,ve helped :thumbsup:

Well im not sure exatly how it was made, just what seems obvious...it oculd very well have been created somehow" i hut the eye holes...whats awsome is that its ONE BIG PEICE OF LEATHER
