What Was The Original Ending For The Descent?

i saw it today then i heard they changed the ending for the american version. does anyone know what the original ending was?

Fleeing, Sarah falls and is knocked unconscious. She dreams of escaping, only to awake once more in the cave, hallucinating that her daughter is there with her. Crawler screams are heard, and the film ends.

Seen the UK version when it first came out and really liked the film. I hope they do another one. Was the American ending really bad or was it OK. If it isn\'t broken don\'t fix it.

it wasent bad it just didint make sense. i left the movie wondering what the hell happened.


its the same ending but in the american version when she sees her dead friend and screams it ends. i came out thinking how the hell she got in there. but now that i Know the original ending it makes sense.

I saw this movie last night and really enjoyed it. Although I was more scared from the cave , clostrophobia, and darkness alone than I was from seeing the cave demons... they were freakin relentless though. This movie does a good job playing on your imagination in parts by making you think things are there or could happen. I feel that it was partly ruined when the cave demons took over the film. I was a little disappointed at the ending, but no biggie - I\'ll pick up the UK version on DVD.
