Bump In The Night Productions Mask Look Bad In Person ?

I was going to order a b.i.t.n.p. dr tongue mask. I was exploring there site when i found a ling to there u.k. suppliers. On there site they have actual pics of the mask rather than the catalog photos. Dr tongue looks nothing like there catalog pic on there main site.Has anyone been unhappy with the quality mask ?I wander if there killer klowns will look as bad as dr tongue ? a freind of mine has a few bitn mask from the store and they look good .some people just take bad pics.dont expect a NIGHTOWL mask or a custom mask but they are better then most others in those halloween stores.tommy

Those masks are mainly mass produced, so yeah - you can't expect handmade studio quality.

I would say on the scale of 1-10 in the mass produced world these are about a 9-10...most BITN stuff is the higher quality mass produced. With a little touch up you can make them really awesome too. I wouldn't expect movie accuracy though...except for maybe the Killer Klowns line.

I was personally not pleased with most items from BITN... The Capt. Spaulding mask is very good for a mask made in Mexico, but any of them with hair I would stay far far away from.

Thanks for the relpys. I wouldn't expect custom quality, But that dr tongue looks awefull. I would expect it to look more like the one on there site. Kinda looks like the old bat and switch act to me.I think I might cancel my order for the shorty klown. I dont want to get hosed.

Hit and miss unfortunately....I've gotten several pieces that look utterly amazing and I've seen some in person that didn't look so hot................................Larry

I love BITN stuff. I have a lot in my collection. The DR. Tongue is pretty good in person and it's licensed. I'm a fan of licensed stuff. For mass produced BITN is the best there is. Period. I know that they put a lot of time into their sculpts and actually care about the buyer. Chuck also tries to be creative and fresh with his ideas.They have been known to toss whole shipments of things that weren't up to par. Just my opinion, Jason
