I'm really looking forward to the movie even though I know next to nothing about the graphic novel. It looks like it's going to be great.

I'm a huge WATCHMEN fan.I think every huge fan has worries about a film adaptation...especially one of this magnitude. For Christ's sake, the topic graced the cover of Entertainment Weekly this past month. How often does an obscure comic book film make headlines of mainstream media a year before the film opens? Eeeh gads...I hope this doesn't make us comic fans look bad.As for the film, I wish they had made it a mini-series instead. Waaaay too much material to cover in a 2 hour stint.Go Rorschach!

Love the graphic novel. The trailer is almost shot for shot the comic panels so that's a good sign. The movie is 3 hours long unedited and the studio is making Snyder cut it to 2 hrs, 25 mins. It's going to make one hell of a DVD release. I'm totally stoked.
