The Fly-Jeff Goldblum should have received an oscar nomination. Probably the biggest cheats in oscar history in my opinion. The ThingFilms I wish that will NEVER get remade:1)The Terminator- No one can ever top Arnold.2)Forest Gump3)Ghost4)boyz n tha hood5)Child's Play-ive heard rumors that it can potentially happen soon but enough is enough. there are not enough words to say that chucky cant be remade.Films I would like to see remade:1)Alien-i dont want this film to be rushed into development. i think with the right director, this may have potential. i truly think its time to revive the franchise.2)Robocop3)The CrowRemakes that i'm excited about:1) Hellraiser-imo the most underrated horror film. i just wish that they hurry up with this one2) Nightmare on elm street- dissapointed with robert englund not being in it at first but jackie earl haley might surprise us.

Hmm... The Fly remake was better than the original I'd say. That's about it for me...although Tom Savini's Night of the Living Dead is VERY close in my book to being better than the original. Not because of it's creep out factor but for different reasons...just an excellent remake.WOW can't believe the amount of responses saying the Chainsaw remake is better than the '74 classic. I can see saying it was a really good remake but better than the original? Wow....just wow. That to me would be like saying the care bears movie is better than the original chainsaw. Anyway....I actually prefer the prequel to the remake...much more gritty, LOVED the mask he wore in the last part of the film. Much more realistic looking than the mask used in the remake if you ask me. Did like the kemper mask though in the remake. The kills in the prequel were MUCH better than in the remake.

The remake was pretty awesome though, very strong when it came out and still the best looking leatherface to date imoThe prequel was pretty awesome too though, very gritty, bloody, gory...pretty much added a lot more to the remake...almost a remake of the remake imo but not bad at allThe original and the remake are both equally enjoyed in my book for their own reasonsJC's The Thing is AwesomeMy Bloody Valentine 3D was great, greatest movie experience I have had in a long time with a slasher/horror film and definitely better than the original in terms of pacing and entertainmentThe Fly remake is awesome as wellI wish I liked the Friday remake more but for me the film is great up until the Friday the 13th title screen...then it just goes south for meI still can't believe people like the remake of Dawn of the Dead better than the original <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"confused.gif\" /> I mean sure the first part of it was awesome but once inside the mall...it wasn't that great for me
