Hey guys,I bet some of you did think about a neat coffee table book about all that different toys, figures, collectors items, merchandise, replica items etc, just as I did.A book that covers all these items related to the Friday franchise. Does one/some of you feel strong enough to ride such a horse all through the long way until the final project gets published? Maybe a group effort? If so, count me in. I would be highest motivated to contribute with own experiences and items. Especially within a section that covers "screen used collectibles and memorabilia".All my best,Marioinfo@fridaythe13thprops.de

that would be awesome, but adding anything that isnt lisenced (which is sometimes the neatest stuff) would just cause copyright issues <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Sad\" border=\"0\" alt=\"sad.gif\" />

Maybe in relation to the Friday logo and/or franchise.. well, it`s something to check.A "fan-made" section is defenitely a must. At least to show the higher end productions from Hockey Mask, costume and bust makers etc. Also a interview or showroom section would be cool.In regards to the official licens items, Jack from scabby.net comes first to mind. I`m following his Friday blog in a regular basis. He has an awesome collection of promo/merchandise items from these films. However, I`m sure many of you can contribute with items!!The book should not only post pictures of different items but bring the background of each item to light. Such as when it hit the market, what price it cost, details about the items themself etc. Does a list exist already, of all official items ever offered to the public?Mario

A list of licensee's would have to be availible to Paramount's legal department, but whether they'd run with something like this themselves, or ask for a large chunk of money for that list would be up to them. You'd also probably only be able to use it as a guide due to some of those items being dropped prior to release. Sites like this one, that sell unlicensed merchandise would also come under fire if Paramount was involved with the book at all, or otherwise officially recognized the book. You yourself might be ok doing the book, but if it carried unlicensed items, all those vendors would HAVE to be addressed in COA's at the very least.. otherwise Paramount would lose it's ability to require a license from anyone. I don't know about Germany, but that's approximately the US Copyright laws regarding enforcibility. You wanna talk about making enemies.. I'm no lawyer though. If I were headed this direction, I'd do a book about the fans, and include as much of the licensed stuff as you could find as like an "additional" section, but I'd stay away from paramount with it.

yeah i'd try my best to keep the movie companies out of it but still keep them happy if they ever did find out about the book itself . if they got word about sites like this one that sell masks of charaters from their movie without permission then you can say goodbye to this site and many others if named in books . but to keep them happy and stuff , you can always post pics of all the mass produced masks made over the years of that movie person whomever that may be and also lots of other masks/busts of a more high end collectible . it would be very nice to have and be able to show friends without having to try to search the web for old pics of a really cool piece you like . i thought there was a site kinda like the michael-myers.net but with jason stuff <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/unsure.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"unsure.gif\" /> . i may be wrong with that but if i'm not then that's a great place to start for pics . mike,
