Glass Eyes

I'm about to send out my freddy bust out to be painted next week, and I am debating wether or not I should buy some glass eyes to use, or have them painted on. Im leaning more towards glass eyes because I want a more realistic look, but I'm not sure of the exact process of how to put them into a resin bust. I know I would have to find someone to dremel the existing eyes out. But once I have the glass eyes....I'm not sure where to go from there. Any help would be greatthanks,Amy

I would say you should definitely go for glass eyes. The eyes of a bust are what make it or break it, and I've seen very VERY few good painted eyes.All you have to do to install them is dremel out the existing eyes and use fine files to get the shape right (leaving the eyelids). All I do is then place them inside and secure them in position with wads and wads of blu-tac - it holds them firm, and it's really easy to remove them or reposition them if you choose.
