So - it's been a week since I watched it the first time, and I had to watch it again. It's incredable - I can't believe how well made it is, even when I knew what was going to happen I couldn't shake the urge to look away or the sick feeling in my stomach.

Does anyone know anything about Serbia? I assume this film has a deeper meaning, it seems too well made with much too passionate a cast to just be a gross out mind frack.

I agree that the cinematography was amazing and that the actors fit their parts very well, I don't regret watching the film at all, I was just simply stating that YOU (whoever the individual that may be reading this) may want to be cautious in who you (individual) recommend the film to.

I appreciate you suggesting the film and none of my comments were any type of dig towards you, sorry if you took them that way.

Hey sorry i took it the wrong way Rob. I wasn't in the best of moods when i was typing that last night either

there's a really interesting cover story on the film in this month's rue morgue magazine in which the director discusses the meanings behind some of the scenes and how the film is a product of the violence in Serbia

I would love to read that - I'm not familar with the magazine, is the article online? I've been dying to discuss this movie with someone, but I'm afraid to show it to anyone.

I downloaded it off piratesbay after seeing this thread

Piratesbay costs to join.. are there any free sites that have this? I'd really like to have a hard copy.. can anyone burn me a copy? I'd gladly pay for the disc, s/h, etc..

    Thanks!

well what can i say about this then,i live in the uk and the film was gonna be shown here for its uk premiere at frightfest in london,i had heard alot about the film but no spoliers so i was really looking forward to it, the director was coming to talk about the film and introduce it and sign stuf afterwards, everyone was looking forward to watchin it and then came the day before it was to be shown and an annoucment was going to be made about the film,we where all intriged to know what they had in store for us,BUT it turned out the uk censors had seen the film and wanted to cut 24 scenes which cut so much out the film that the organisers decided we where at a horror film festival and we didnt want to see no cut film!! well i like alot of here downloaded it too and well i agree with alot of your comments it made u feel uncortable inside i couldnt stopp thinking about what id seen and the boundarys they where pushing to show us this film, some of it is amazing cinema and others parts are just stupid but i will let u all watch and see what u think but make sure u get the uncut version because they are realeasing it but cut to death!!!
