Making up a better quality cardboard knife for my mannequins to hold. The first turned out pretty good and it can be seen in the hands of my H4 along with the wooden too I have. Although wood is very light it would still fall out so cardboard is perfect. This cardboard is thicker and even thick enough for costuming. So far I glues two together, used 4 handles and spray painted it chrome and black. This is just a test prototype and if it works out well I may do more. I am probably gonna give the same aged steel look as my last axe, but with more blood spatter. I want a clean one also but it is 30 degrees here and painting is tough as it freezes and bubbles. Plus the texture of the cardboard shows through quicker, so I got to keep bringing it back inside quickly. But once dirtied up you should not be able to tell much. I am working on the handle rivets now.
Also did one with my finger showing the thickness, and will be filling in the holes probably as well. Here is the first rough coats, with be doing the detailing later and pics outdoors. Hope it comes out well as my other one is kinds thin and flimsy.
