Anyone have any ideas on a good way to melt plexiglass or glass into a liquid without messing up its color i want it to stay clear as a liquid, because i want to pour it into a galvanized bucket filled with cold water so it will immediately dry into a poured free formed shape. I\'ve already tried plexiglass in a pot on an outiside stove and it didnt work i was wondering if there was a clear plastic with a very low melting temp. i could use but i eventually want to try this on glass. I figured i\'d ask here since there are a few guys on here that do the blank hockey masks and they need to melt plastic so if anyone has any insight i would appreciate it so much.
BTW i know this is a really off topic question but i\'ve been working with plexiglass and epoxies for most off all my 3-d sculptures and i just had this idea and wanted to try it out.
Thank You
Anthony
