    Besides running it through the washing machine multiple times or laying it out in the sun, how could I fade denim?

    You can use a sandstone in the wash to fade it.... the old school way to make jeans a lighter color.

    I feel ignorant. I\'ve heard the term stoned washed before but never really looked into it. Where could I find some sandstone?
