I\'m almost totally computer illiterate, so, how would I take off an icon that shows up on the main desktop screen without deleting the file itself?

I tried and it said it would send the whole thing to the recycle bin. Music file included.

I deleted the icons and it deleted the files to, so I had to take them back out of the recycle bin and the icons came back.

If its just a music file you can cut and past it to one of your document folders. it will just be moved.

Yup, you\'re going to have to move the actual music file to another location. Just cut and paste or drag it to another folder.
