I just saw a tv spot for a new novel to film adaptation called simply THE MIST.The film is about a "mist" that overshadows a small town, trapping a group of people in a large store, that know if you go into this "mist" it kills the crap out of you..now does this sound familuar?...maybe like..THE FOG?!now I did my research here, just so I could compare what came first here,King's novel, or Carpenter's movie, and guess what, both came out in 1980,it is my verdict, that a film takes alot longer to prouduce and bring to fruition, and that the only reason we're seeing this Mist movie over 20 years later, is so King woulden't get critisized for being a friggin Hack.your thoughts?
