It's just a bend in the metal. Of course people's opinions will differ as to the details of the glove. To those of you saying I could change some things, hit me up. What do you think needs to be changed?

Actually Mark, thats what i saw as well. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> But mostly i think its just the small details now, you have done soooo much research on this bad boy and its almost perfect in my eyes, but i think things like the messy solder and oxidation (i know its so hard to get perfect, but i think it would look great anyways on those tips.) The hole on the thumb, (very small but easy detail) just a few of these tiny things... i know they are small and a pain but i think it would push your glove over the edge if you could get them in there, maybe even some of the tiny details from your comparison detective work.... i know my part one has a ways to go, but i really think these tiny details will make your glove the most accurate possible IMO. But besides the small BS, Fantastic work My Friend!!! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yes.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"yes.gif\" /> <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

I would love to be able to naturally age my metals so they look even more authentic but that comes down to knowing how to do so. I haven't a clue and I'm not about to start putting my gloves out in the elements for months to age. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"Smile\" border=\"0\" alt=\"smile.gif\" />But I guess I could add a little more detail on the soldering. But most of the time it's random. I am not skilled enough to actually replicate such small soldering details at this point. But I could try adding some easier details. This is a part-time hobby for me and adding so many details to it will drive me insane since I already have limited building time as it is.<img src=\"http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn47/knifegloves/Part2Glove.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

Oh, sorry bud, no overall your coloring looks great, i just meant about the oxidation around the messy solder on the tips thats all. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" /> yeah, the small details sure can drive ya to the edge, especially in your situation and with soldering, it definitely has a mind of its own. lol... but as for part ones go its the best out there! <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> i just think it would be cool, to see some of that stuff in there even if not exact. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"wink.gif\" />

The glove has really improved over time. I still feel there are details that are missing or incorrect (mainly related to sizing, shaping, metal treatment, and detail work), but it is a good basic build. I think the primary issue that keeps me from buying one is the metal treatment -- it just isn't the right process yet. But I suspect Mark will work it out eventually.I think the glove does deserve credit on <b>proportions</b> in some areas, especially as it relates to the blades. The comparison shot above illustrates this well. Also, while not the first person I know to have discovered (parts of) the true nature of the beveling of the screen used blades, he is the first I know to be releasing these details publicly.Anyway, always enjoyable to watch it evolve.

You say there are things missing/incorrect relating to sizing, shaping, metal treatment, and detail work. That can be summed up as "the entire thing". What do you feel is inaccurate? I do know that my weathering process isn't as authentic as natural aging. I have yet to see a glove that is. But hit me up with your thoughts because Mike (the actual owner of the glove) said that my sizing and template shapes are practically spot on.
