does anyone have any info on this? paramount announced in feb of 2009 that they were working on a box set for 1-8. i would absolutely love to see this happen but i haven't heard a single word about it since.

The Friday The 13th Films website is saying that plans for it have been scrapped and the deluxe DVDs are now out of production. So who knows, but I am with you, I would like to get a nice BluRay set of all of them.

golly gee willikers that sucks. i wonder if i could do it myself lol. i'm sure it's not as easy as just doing it but i'm going to look into it. maybe i can turn it into a long term project lol.

Yea, when I wrote that story for the website, I contacted Paramount and their response was there was no plans for the Blu-Ray boxset at this time. You better bet that when a new movie comes out that Paramount is going to be all over that set so they can make more money!
