Brand New Don Post Masks Paint Cracking? Update W/pics

Hi guys. I just bought a new don post killer klown mask. There new for 2011.
I noticed that when you bend or flex the latex the paint cracks. Is this how don post is doing things these days? or mabey just a defective mask.

I know from painting masks that if you dont put enough latex in your mask paint this happens but i have never seen this happen on a mass produced mask.

Not sure what they are doing. To save the one you already have, go get Plasti dip clear, in a spray can. A couple of coats over the painted areas, and it will create a barrier and stop the paint from cracking!

Oh and can you post pics? I would love to see what the masks actually look like instead of their photos

They have videos of the other dp klowns to. I will say they are pretty thin castings and the paint is shoddy. See how the poof of hair looks like it has a rubber band around it holding it in place? Not so its glued stiff as a board. don post did a craptacular job on these production wise. I do like the sculpts for the burger place klown and fatso but slim and shorty look terrible.

I spoke with the owner of the place i bought the klown from and this seems to be an issue with all of the don post klowns (at least all of there stock) I also left a message on don post\'s facebook page to see if this is some sort of error or just the way there being made.

Hi guys, I have been e mailing with a rep from the paper magic group who owns don post. They asked for some pics and my phone number. I thought i would share some pics with you guys to.This seems to be a wide spread problem. They are trying to get to the bottem of this and if i hear anything i\'ll let ya know.

Talked to don post, this was a factory error, there fixing it. Its all good.
