I dont know how to post a link but on ebay there is an apparently screen used glove at a VERY low starting bid ??? just type in freddy krueger movie prop "89"

it is a $500 starting thats not completely low, he may be hurting for cash and has to sell it. but i dont hink it is real, its a good replica but even if it is faded i thought there was more blood on the fingers and the blades dont look right.

Hello,I saw the original auction of this glove when it was up at Profiles in History auctions. It originally came with a second glove, that was describbed as prototype. That second glove did not look like a part 5 glove anyway, more like a part 2.However, this part 5 glove offered here at Ebay actually does look right, when it comes to the metall parts. The blades looking off in shape, but it might be because they were made from plastic to be used in stunt scenes.<img src=\"http://i37.tinypic.com/33liaft.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />Compared to the proofed authentic ones I saw (and own) the leather glove itself is defenitely wrong. As mentinoed, it`s featuring the wrong drawstring and the leather in general is a lot too dark. This detail was not visible during the Profiles auction as they had a pic up that did not show the leather glove that well.In my eyes, this glove has defenitely it`s roots to the actual production of Nightmare 5, but I do not know in what degree it was used on screen.The auction just passed the $1000 and it`s still 6 days to go.Hope that helps,Mario

A good glove maker could easily replicate this glove.Thats the scary thing about screen used items.
