That was an awesome film. It told the story of Ed Geins crimes only for the movie they changed the name to "Ezra Cobb". The movie is just creepy as hell....a true cult classic. Was released around the same time as the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Anyone?

ok......now thats weird. I just saw this movie for the first time 3 days ago. I found it at my local pawnshop, it was a double feature with motel hell, another movie I had not seen, I loved them both. but yeah, deranged was definately a very creepy movie. The guy who played Ezra did a great job. highly reccomended!! kinda reminded me of psycho but much better.

I grew up watching that film. Cooky and spooky, Blossoms is a great actor. It has to be the best Ed Gein story adaptation out side of the bio pic released a few years back. Def a classic...i collected everything i could find on that movie. Matt

Awesome movie. Roberts Blossom rocks! He also played the old guy that sells the car in Christine<img src=\"http://www.bobsclassicmopar.com/christine/RobertsBlossom-106.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

Great movie with some great gore effects. Make sure you find the uncut version...the double feature was an edited version. It featured some of Savini's first gore effects. "Better than Psycho"....??????........wtf are you smokin'?...not even close to Hitchcock's masterpiece.................................Larry

He was also "Old man Marley" in "Home Alone". Hey Lustig....when you say the bio pic released a few years back...do you mean the one with Steve Railsback? if so, I have that one also and it's great. Although deranged is much more creepy to me than that one.
