I was wondering what type of glue, adhesive, latex, ext one would use to apply nails to a latex piece like Pinhead and what not. Metal nails are what I am thinking but any other ideas would be helpful.thanks, brian

real nails may not be the best way to go for a latex mask. you could maybe buy this pinhead mask, removed the plastic nails, then use them on yours? you could use either latex or may epoxy depending on your mask's thickness.<img src=\"http://www.spirithalloween.com/images/spirit/products/processed/00010918.zoom.a.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />

The weight of the nails might pose a problem on latex. Ultimately, it would cause the mask to sag or at least look disproportional due to the "give" of the latex strength vs. gravity.I guess it depends on how thick the latex is cast?My only suggestion is to go with the plastic nails that those cheapo Pinhead masks come with, but just make sure that the pins are glued seriously tight and seriously straight.Either way, update us as to your results...

I do have that sucky mask and I was thinking of cutting the plastic ones of and molding a bunch of them, but the real ones are so much better. And oh yea stainboy, I was thinking of a medium pull, like a DMC part 5 Freddy mask. Something that holds its shape but still is a bit stretchy.

If you got a thick pull and used really thin nails, you jussssssssssssst might be able to pull it off. But then again, maybe not. It sounds like an interesting experiment, no?

the best thing is to foam fill it, if you can, i had a pinhead some time ago, if its foam filled real nails will stay, the firmness of foam kept them from drooping.
