Hey everyone.. just testing some new aging methods. I'm looking to do away with my current aging technique due to health concerns (mine) so I thought I'd toss up a photo of the first test backplate I just did. I am going to try to keep the brass yellow and I believe I know how to do that but I thought I'd get your impressions on my first try:

Cool I like it. I enjoy your test topics. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> I think this new method appears to be less 3D when finished. Do you know what I mean? Like, if you hold this backplate on its side and look at it, you won't see the age-ing solution sticking up, the effect appears more flat which I personally like better. Keep up the great work, I really love your dedication and passion to making your gloves, its great. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

It's relatively easy, affordable, and it is more flat. Yet it is slightly raised but only just. Glove making requires a LOT of dedication and time and patience to get it right and I want to provide the best product possible. Thanks for your comments!

    Same backplate but I've dulled down the glossiness of it:<img src=\"http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn47/knifegloves/DSCF3612.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />
