Interesting! I can agree with a few of em for sure. I put the ones that I feel deserve to be on the list in bold.I haven't seen Audition or Even Horizon, but guess I need to check them out lol. Some of these flicks are great, but I could come up w/ better choices.Darkman isn't really horror imo and neither is the Sixth Sense. Shaun of the Dead is comedy/horror but yeah, instant classic for sure.#1 Audition(1999)#2 The Silence of the Lambs(1991)#3 The Blair Witch Project(1999)#4 Scream(1996)#5 28 Weeks Later(2007)#6 What Lies Beneath(2000)#7 The Sixth Sense(1999)#8 Drag Me to Hell(2009)#9 Alien 3(1992)#10 Ringu(1998)#11 Planet Terror(2007)#12 From Hell(2001)#13 Misery(1990)#14 Hostel 2(2007)#15 Shaun of the Dead(2004)#16 The Descent(2005)#17 The Kingdom(1994)#18 Event Horizon(1997)#19 Darkman(1990)#20 Dead-Alive(1992)

Yeah, Alien 3 is mystifying.....So is Darkman...EW has such a loose definition of horror...

I watched the Blair Witch again last night after 10 years... and I have to say, it probably deserves a spot b/c of its originality and creepy sounds that make your mind wonder. I always love flicks that don't have to show the killer in order to successfully create psychological fear. I swear that Mike is floating in the corner at the end... his feet look like they don't touch the ground.

I don't understand why those stupid Hostel movies are even considered to be scary...they are predictable and gory but not one bit scary...too bad the art of cinema is wasted on those pieces of crap!!
