You guys wanna hear a blatant rip-off ? Jimmy Page ripped of the band Spirit's song "Taurus" to write "Stairway to Heaven".You Decide"The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources. "Albert EinsteinJimmy Page never got that memo. Granted Jimmy Page wrote some of the best rock music ever but he lifted atleast from Spirit and I don't remember who but they did get sued by some blues artist for lifting (i think) part of "Whole Lotta Love" from some blues singer. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think you'll see what's up with the lyrics of this song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkQpZpFLpv4There are several other rip offs out there, but that wasn't the point of this thread. I'd like to think it was more of a tribute, not a stolen idea. Hell, I'm sure Black Sabbath doesn't even remember doing that.

I was just pointing out similarities. That's all. Call it what you want. All I know is this post made me pull out my Zep and Sabbath discs.
