Part of me doesn't want to applaud Benicio at all. The dude produced the movie and just cast himself in the lead role. Would he have gotten that role in nay other way? I doubt it. On the bright side, they probably would have given it to some other ridiculous character actor like Johnny friggin' Depp or Anthony Hopkins. I actually thought it was well done. Very entertaining. Rick Baker is still the king! Managed to capture the essence of the original mixed with his own vision....Look forward the Blu-ray and hopefully lots of Baker extras....Go and see it on the big screen...

I seen this movie tonight & though that it was decent.I had watched it without directly comparing it to the original classic.It is cool to see the Wolfman smack people's heads off their shoulders & most of the gore was well done.This movie definitely earned the R-rating.I thought that the makeup was well done & seeing a wolfman instead of a common werewolf was interesting.
