The Original Freddy Vs. The Remake Freddy

i like this line of the horrorbid blog: <b>Remakes do not replace.</b> <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\":thumbsup:\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" /> The <b>Classic</b> will always have a very special place inside my heart and it stand on it's own. no matter how many remakes will follow.about the look of the new Freddy well i still think it looks a bit like Mason Verger.,but that is not the main problem for me, the only thing i still find very hard is the fact that someone else is playing the Freddy character now after all these years instead of R.E.<u>for me personally</u> it was not needed to make a remake of the classic A.N.O.E.S. film. <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"B)\" border=\"0\" alt=\"cool.gif\" /><b>Edit:</b> Robert was not the only one because Michael Bailey Smith was Super Freddy in part 5. I dig the more realistic look, but what's realistic about Freddy? Haha. He gets you in your dreams. Regardless, I'm stoked for the reboot.

haven't seen the remake, so im not quick to judge. BUT since the new film is giving freddy a more realistic burnt victim look, i have to say that he looks pretty wicked. But as far as performance goes, who knows? we will have to wait april 30 to see if his performance is as superior as robert's freddy. As far as Robert's freddy goes, ROBERT FREDDY ENGLUND KRUEGER will forever be classic and legend. I mean c'mon guys the film hasn't come out yet and we're judging jackie's looks/performance through trailers and clips? its like jason having a extra hole on his Hockey Mask and the whole crowd goes on a riot......

The new make up looks amazing, without the remake Freddy would be dead, so lets give it a chance.As much as I love Robert and his interpretation of the character, it is my opinion that Jackie Earle Haley is a better actor, so I'm expecting something great.
