I figured I would share this with you guys. I have a original pencil illustration of Chris Mueller Jr. sculpting the creature mask. The piece was done in 1983, and must have been given to Chris Mueller Jr. as a gift or something, possibly by a fellow artist or friend of his. On the back, in Chris Mueller Jr.'s handwriting he wrote "For dear Maxine from Chris" "February 16-1984" "A Universal Production" I assume he gave the piece as a gift to Maxine. I can not make out the artists name.. Ron something..

Wow...That's quite an amazing piece!! Thanks very much for sharing it. The Creature is easily one of my favorite classic monsters, and the sculpture of the character is extremely inspiring.
