    Are there any metal magazines left ? I used to read metal maniacs and couple others but I know they went out of business couple years ago .

    Magazines in general have gone the way of the "dodo."

    Many a young kids on this board probably have no idea what you mean when you say the phrase "Metal magazines."

    I used to read metal maniacs at the store, I think there was another one called Circus? Or something along those lines. I would always browse through them after I flipped through Guitar World.

    I'm pretty sure there are a couple still in print. The last time I was at a big store that sold lots of magazines, they had issues of Metal Edge and Metal Maniacs.

    Actually , metal maniacs and metal edge magazines went out of business in 2009 .

    check out decibel magazine, they are basically metal maniacs 2.0 with alot of the same writers and features.
