I\'m making myself a new costume for this year and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for what might look best as blood on a shirt. I\'m looking at the blood on most of the part 4 hockey masks and wanted to get that on a shirt. The texture of the blood i\'ve seen on mikes hockey masks is the perfect look i\'m going for, that fresh blood look. everything i\'ve tried hasn\'t done the trick. If anyone could offer any suggestions i\'d be greatly appreciated. thanks.

    permawet and red acrylic paint

    OR...

Red food color poured directly on the clothes makes a deep VERY deep red stain or buy some fabric dye and just use the dye right out of the box instead of throwing it in the washer.

Yeah my idea is pretty much the low cost version of the permawet idea.
