UPDATE: I emailed Tyler and he responded with this:

    Chad-

Thanks for writing. The film Rob Zombie is making, will not be an installment in the now trodden “Halloween” series. It will be its own film, with respect only to the character of Michael Meyers. Both Rob and myself, are huge fans of the original “Halloween” movie. That said, we will be employing the classic John Carpenter themes throughout the film, within the scope of Mr. Rob’s demented vision. We’re looking forward to the challenge, and having great fun with the film. It is Rob’s intention to make a movie that stands on its own, and delivers to the hardest of the hard core fans, and the general public alike. From what I have seen thus far, this movie will require an adjustment be made to the word “intense,” as it applies to genre films altogether.

    Cheers,

    Tyler

LOL - responded within about 4 minutes. Taking a while now for a 2nd response though. I\'ll keep everyone posted on what he says about changing up the theme or tweaking it a bit.

I like it, at least he stuck with the original for the most part. Of course fans would\'ve rioted had he not.

It could be used for the Halloween movie, however I think it was made mainly for ROB ZOMBIE to use during the intro to his live concerts. I saw him last week and this was the one that was used. Case Closed! End yer speculations.
