I remember a guy who used to have a webpage where he made custom saw replicas from part 1 and part 2. He did an incredible job and if memory serves he said the saw in part 3 was more or less custom made and nearly impossible to replicate. If I can find the site or pics I\'ll let ya know...................Larry

That would be a very hard project.
Chainsaw with chrome and gold would be expensive and have to be hand made Id imagine.

Thanx guys. Luckily, my brother is a professional metal finisher. Smile Nothing\'s impossible, just difficult. I\'m bored and can\'t think of a better side project right now. Plus, I have been wanting one since about 1991...lol.

If you can do it that would be ausome, that saw is kick a**, i looked around for one a while back but didnt have any luck, and you wouldnt have to have solid gold or chrome i dont think, if you got some high quality metalic paint im sure you could pull it off, and btw, your lucky that your bro has that job, you should have him to help you make a vs. hero machete, i havent seen any high quality accurate ones, im sure you could make some dough, good luck bro, Ty

well you may need to pick up a

    STIHL 084 AV
32" bar, no anti kick back only a roller nose sprocket
    404 count chain
    67 cc\'s
it alone weighs about 65 pounds i used to own one but it was a parts saw for all our stihl saws

there was on on ebay the exact same model but i lost the bid well look around and remeber there is standard sawdogs on the clutch cover

Thanx for the 411, bro. Now as soon as I decipher all the secret chainsaw code, I can get to work...lol. J/K. I thought it was a Stihl. They have a very distinct design to them. I have 2 Stihls myself, but they are of the smaller modeled variety. Anyway, thanks for the info.

one w, a 32" bar ("blade" that chain runs along)

anti kickback pawls (a small piece of steel at end of bar to prevent the

saw from being throwng it in yer face) dont get it

404 chain is the number of chain teeth and guides on 3 foot bar

I wish my digi cam was workin\' i could give some example pics with all my saws (my dad used to own a sawmill in PEI so i got all the old saws)

67 cc (cubic centimetres of ags and air mixed and the size / volume of air and gas mix into combustion chamber)
basically the power of the chainsaw, like horsepower to a mower
