Well, he was Smithsgrovedr here on NIGHTOWL and was banned. I checked for TheShape18 or whatever in the memberlist and didn't see anyone by the name at all.
Cant say i know this person but i recognise the screen name very well. Is it just me or is much more of this crap happening these days? Iv'e only been into collecting a few short years and i dont think i can ever remember reading about so many scammers and ripp off merchants, well since iv'e been a member of these boards anyway. Luckily for me i have had the great honour of doing biz with who i now know are some of the best and top guy's in this hobby who are veryreliable and most importantly honest. I have been caught out only once since iv'ebeen collecting but it's once too many times in my eyes, even though the $200was easy to replace it's just not a nice feeling when someone has taken you fora ride. Reasons like this make me very curious now and it is a shame that i wouldnow find it hard to trust anyone else to do a deal with even though most guys mightbe sound. I'll always try to stick with my buddies i know i can trust the most andwho i have dealt with in the past. Thanks for the kind words Darren. We do have a long track record together don't we? How many masks was that I sold you... 30 somethin? LOL! You're a top guy yourself and a pleasure to talk to. I hate to see more and more scammers everyday, but we have to stick together and buy from ONLY those we trust. I value loyalty and honesty above all and only deal with those I know have the same outlook on things.
Another reason why its so very, very important for us to stick together and "out" the ones who are lying, cheating and stealing. Its the only way to protect ourselves................................................Larry
