Well, I had to sell my last two sweaters because they were too large even though they looked badass and were very accurate. I bought an official rubie's sweater thinking I could weather it up, but quite frankly the whole sweater looked like crap. the stripes were way too big, especially the green area around the neck. So I bought a plain red sweater from Walmart and a few cans of green spray paint and decided to have a go at making one myself. Here is the final product (minus the weathering I intend on doing). So some of the paint smugded, the green didn't blend in as well as I'd hoped, and some of the stripes are a little off-balanced/large, but I think overall I did a fairly decent job on my first little project. <img src=\"http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/cc298/Iron_Ike/IMG_0698.jpg\" border=\"0\" class=\"linked-image\" />EDIT: Damn, sorry, wrong forum. If a mod could move this I would appreciate it. I can't seem to find a "delete" option on the edit menu if there is one.

Looks good, I did the same thing for one of my friends who had a janitor mask a couple of halloweens ago. It works well, adn its hard to tell a difference in the sweatshirt and a real sweater once you do the fraying on the neck and cuffs and weather it. Plus, its cheap <img src=\"style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif\" style=\"vertical-align:middle\" emoid=\"\" border=\"0\" alt=\"thumbsup.gif\" />

That's pretty nice. Waaay better than the Rubies sweaters on their best day. I never would have thought to do that, great job.

yea i think the way the green soaked in a little actually makes it look better... like it has been aged. Weather it up and i think that will look top notch.
